Description

Well hello there! It has been a while and I have missed seeing all of the wonderful images that people have put up. I would like to thank those who have been writing to me while I have been gone. I appreciate the friendships. I hope all is well with everyone. This was taken at the begining of April of one of my most favorite animals. We went to the Cincinnati Zoo with my daughter. It was her first time to a zoo. This was taken with my new camera. It is the Kodak Easy Share P850. I still have no clue how it really works. I have been just been trying it out. I would like to know how to get the glare from the glass off of the image. I have made them so they are less red. I would appreciate any help. Thank you for taking a look and for any comments given.

Welcome back dear. It was a joy to see you in my email box. I love this picture but have a few questions. I see the eyes and at first thought it was a fractal. Looking more at it I can't see what type of animal it is. Hmmm...Oh yippee I see it but for the life of me I can't think of the name of it. It's at the tip of my tongue. He's sooo cute. What I thought was the eyes are his/her nostrils. I see the eyes and think it is a nice added touch to your photo. They just need to be toned down a tiny bit. How to do this is out of my league and hope you are able to learn from somebody. I'm working on fixing pic's too. Good luck learning. I think the purple hues of this animal are beautiful. You caught them well. Enjoy your new camera and welcome home. ~Therese

Is that a manate? Slow but graceful animals (although I've only ever seen them on tv - not many of those in Norway...:). Very nice!

Yes, this is a beautiful Manatee or Sea Cow depending on how you know them. I just adore them. She was what looked to be like dancing. She even kissed the plexiglass for me. I could not get that one, but it was a wonderful experience! Thank you all for the lovely comments!
