Nice light, shade, and depth but the old oak (is it?) becomes the center of attention. Photography also has its vices--it has trained generations not to see as their two eyes see in space and in a different spectrum of color....the great photographers know this and use it. Nor has night vision ever been seriously approached, though often suggested. And still idiots talk of photography as if it were inherently "realist."

Personally, I like both versions of this image. The color version pleases the "color freak" in me, while the B&W gives it a more omninous, solemn mood, which is perfect for the subject. Excellent works buddy! Congrats to you as well!

Wonderful work, and good old Kodak, well, the series I'm posting now (after the Terschelling-series) is all scanned by Kodak Photo-cd, gold-colored cd's and yes, they have made name and are still in the race in both chemical en digital photography!
