Wake up rubbing my eyes
Hungry but to lazy to fix myself something to eat
Fill the sink with hot water

As a boomer approaching retirement age, I feel your pain. I know it's bad when I need my reading glasses in order to shave or else I'll end up looking like I used a weed wacker on my face. But first, I have to 'find' those glasses. WINK. Well written piece. I've found, in my short earthly travels, that one gets out of life what they put into life. Let us go on vacation doing things we do not have the energy for anymore, draining our savings while arguing the entire timewhen you get back home, you will remember why you looked forward to retirement ;)
