Description
My first undersea post and man was it hard working the lighting! It was like some evil force fighting against me. I had set up my lighting before I put up the water plane up top. When I added the water plane and did another test render I found that the lighting was total block from going under the water plane, but gave me a nice effect on the water surface. So I'm thinking no big deal, right duplicate the light, and bring it below the water level. That when it all started to fall apart. No matter what I did I could not get my lights to look how they did before I added the water. I got so fed up with it, that I decide since I was going to do my water ripple in post that I would fix my lighting there as well.
I hope you like it. I always wanted to do an underwater scene, but boy-o-boy at what price! I hope Carrara plays nice with me the next time I want to do an underwater scene.
Thanks for looking, and comments always welcome

Very menacing underwater scene! I was reading about your lighting problems -- could it be that the water plane was casting a shadow from the light above?? (would unchecking "cast shadows" for the water plane help?) I still think it's a great scene anyways.

Great scene! I finally saw it! The big fish DOES look mean! And, the little fish does look afraid! :P Anyway, keep it up, ma'am!

He looks mean! I think they need a bigger boat!I never finished an underwater scene in Poser, but it wasn't too difficult, it looked better as an animation though.
