Prince Kragle took extra time to gaze into the eyes of the last slaves eyes. It was Soolee, a somewhat new addition to Castle Borgan. She had arrived several months ago

Not sure of the story, but the picture is fabulous. How did you do the tears? Were they post worked or bump/displacement mapped? The only slightly jarring note is the colour in the eye whites, sort of expect them to be near monochrome too.

The tear I did was postwork. In the original the eye was monochrome - infact the whole thing was a B&W Grayscale - I like the effect of the eyes lips and fingernails having color. Your probably right aboiut the story - this was a couple paragragh excerp from a 7K word short story - it is kind of out of context with just the few paragraghs.

I dont agree about the eye's, i think the eyes are very realistically done, and to change it as suggested above would take away a large part of the atmosphere of the image. PS, I like what i read of the story above as well. If you ever geta cahnce to publish anything, on the web or whatever give us a shout. Got alot of potential.

Thanx Bubbles, I appreciate your input - actually this story and about 14 others are now on the web - they are all set in the same mythical world of Mernac. Take a peek - www.mernac.com
