Description
This was my third pure watercolor painting I ever did. My grandmother was quite ill at the time, and I thought to cheer her I would paint something she'd like - and she asked for a sailboat. I painted it, showed it to her, and then went to get it framed so she could put it in her hospital room. She passed two days later, never seeing the final product.

This is something very special, as is the story behind it. I'm glad your Grandmother got to view it, even if she didn't see it framed. It is obvious to me that it was surrounded (framed) by love, which makes it a very beautiful painting. Thankyou for sharing it.
