Description

Since I plan on rendering my best work at 20,000 x 15,000 when I get a new 64 bit machine, I figured there is no sense tying up my machine for many hours making bigger renders than this now. This is a World Machine terrain with an unsharpen mask in photoshop. Happy Easter

Nice work, like the striking rays through the canyon. Rendering at 20000x15000? Wondering if that's possible and if it is: it would take ages I guess? I'm curious about the results!

I just tried it and got an error message telling me there was not enough memory in the memory buffer on this machine, which is what I expected. If anyone has 4 gig of memory and one of those new duel core 64 bit processors, let me know if it works.

I see you are coming along just fine. This is Super. You don't have to render at 20,000 to get good results. Most of mine are 3456x2592. There is plenty of res. saved in the file downsize. Besides a 20,000 render is most likely going to have heavy Compression lines! My new machine is single core with 2.5 GHz of RAM and I tried it and it will take the 20,000 but my render buffer will probably have to be 1024 or larger to render all the sky. Excellent Render of your's here!!!

Outstanding terrain and POV, your surfacing is lovely, the magical part is the sun rays peeking through the mountain. Beautiful water settings and excellent color pallette... (and my renders are usually 1300 by 975-- with a new 200 gig comp etc and still those on occasion will take three hours or more :)
