Looks like a design for a sculpture - probably small scale - to me. Nice. Textures scanned from real objects maybe. I like this and your others.

Really, really nice concept...I like the way the wooden texture flows through the cutout on the cube here,great stuff.Reminds me of Japanese or Oriental furniture this,you could design that stuff,this is nice.Keep up the good work.Mag
