Only have Daz and Photoshop Elements 2.0. :) edit: 1 Now i have Bryce 5, 5.5 and 6; I just recently started working in Poser and i have 5 and 6 and 7 coming soon. and of course i still have Daz|Studio. haven't yet upgraded my photoshop editor. 26-Nov-06

To be honest I really don't like the terrain. However, the planes and pov are excellent. I am surprised that DAZ produced this plane (or offered it) as I seem to remember that the Spitfire had 4 machine guns on each wing and those wings had a more acute angle to the fuselarge.

the Spitfire isn't from Daz. it can be bought here also - http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=36008 Bazze does say in the description "The model is based on the Spitfire. It is a fictional model and not an authentic design.". i did a google for spitfire - http://www.adrenalin.bc.ca/wings/pix/spitfire.jpg thanks for your comment :)

Looks like you have self shadowing turned off on the spitfires ther shadows are doing soem funny things. Some later marks of the spitfire had cannons. Daz gets picky about that you have to say it is nto really a spitfire for them to sell it. I had a problem with them not wanting to sell my P-26 peashooter because of that.

The Spitfires look good, as do all of Bazze's models. I have the p47 and p38 and am well pleased with both of them. I need to crit your prop blur. Bazze usually provides an excellent prop blur with his models so I do not know what happened to yours. http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Haven/2470/proptut.html Above is a url to an excellent tut for making prop blurs in Bryce. You will also want to compose your scenes using more terrains. Then you should apply erosion to your terrains and make them hi resolution. The low resolution terrains never look good. For making scenes of air to ground action you can paint roads in a paint app and import it into the terrain editor in Bryce, then put tanks and stuff on the road to strafe. Good luck on your aviation artwork.

huh? i didn't want roads or tanks or stuff, its a coastline sort of. this is probably a once off for the moment. can i tell you have to lay out your next render!

I agree with UVDn's comments and advice above about the terrains--they are the weak link in this render. Also, one last nit-picking observation in regard to historical accuracy: The Spitfire had a three-bladed prop, not a four-bladed one. Don't let that make you feel silly; I once had Normady D-Day stripes on the wings and fuselage of some P-51s in a South Pacific Theater picture! grin.
