Description

A rework of "Mike's Blessing" with an eye toward the calendar. "Pika" comes from "pika-pika", a Japanese onomatopoea which means sparkling clean--the sound of glistening... Hey, I have an interesting job offer --cameraman/editor covering Subsaharan Africa based in Johannesburg. It's a tough decision, especially since I don't know a thing about the place. If anyone has experience with SA in general and Joburg in particular I'd love to hear your opinion on living/working there. Thanks

The sound of glistening--I like that. I like your fractal also. I know nothing about S.Africa, but it sure sounds exciting and a drastic change from where you are now.

This is stunning and apparently Jo'burg is too. Many years ago when my first husband was in the Royal Navy and visited many places round the world he always said Jo'burg was his favourite. Don't know anything about it myself but do remember this. Good luck if you take the job.

What wonderful pearlescent pastel colors! The "sweeping" background is fabulous! And I agree that you have a tough decision to ponder upon. What a culture shock of change that would be! Good luck in your decision, hope you get some feedback from those familiar with that part of the world. I hope you will be guided to what will be best for you.

I love the soft pastels and sort of mother-of-pearl vibe to the finish of this fractal. Wow - from Japan all the way to SA - that'll be a change of pace to say the least. VERY good luck to you Toby, no matter what you decide.
