Description

This piece started as a cover for a Chinese graphic novel, but somehow I lost the contact to the client, however as I already had the sketches and color layout and all the work involved, I decided to tweak it to my own needs and finish it. More than a six-pak, enough to bench-press a APC ! so Rapunzel has a great view of her rescue ? colouring and detail ROCK, but there seems to be a conflict with the two different horizon lines ? just a suggestion ~Cheers~ :o)

Excellent painting, fabulous blending of fantasy and sci-fi -- not an easy subject to illustrate. (I like Hildebrandt's take on fantasy/scifi pics) Your pictures have a much more dark & ominous feeling, a unique style! V
