What a beautiful little creek. It reminds me of the one we have running through our backyard. It also has plenty of ferns...here and there....and also ruins from beaver-damms....sigh. Beautiful photo indeed! Have a great day Kort! #:O)

LOL at in case I want to know more about ferns!Ummmm I think that will do for now, lol.Gorgeous atmo there,Kortalouche,so lush and green. And such a lovely little creek.Ferns always have such an ancient prehistoric look, which I see you allude to.As a child,I would've loved to play with my little dinosaurs there.Have a wonderful day,my friend.-M :^)

Gorgeous and lush! But I must say, when I first glanced at it, I half expected to see dinosaur tracks...something about ferns always conjurs dinosaurs! ; )

As you point out, ferns are much older than grasses - imagine a world without grass (no this NOT meant as a joke about smoking!)

Fantastic result -- better than with flash, IMO. One expects a dinosaur to perhaps peek up from among the fronds.... My Vote

looks like a magic place. a place where faries live. They be rideing on dragonflys and doing what they do. so lovely. I read that you can eat the fern when they first come out of the ground. Here they are too big. Something to look up.
