Description

I know technically this flag should be retired, but when i saw it, i had to shoot an image. The idea was natural. During this time of war, we have lost many, leaving our hearts, families and everone connected to the war, which pretty much is everyone, tattered. However, to the terrorists who abound, we may be tattered, but the RED WHITE and BLUE is still FLYING STRONG! Thank you to all the U.S. Armed Forces giving thier life for my, and my families freedom. I will do nothing but teach my son respect for you who fight everyday for the blanket of freedom you provide. THANK YOU!

Do you really believe, your government had set your military in motion to catch or kill a few fanatic self murderers? Start questioning. It wont make you happier, but more independent.

David, thank you so much for posting this. As the wife of a retired Army man & a fellow citizen of the great USA I am glad there are others out there who Feel we should be standing by our men & women in the armed forces. THANK YOU AGAIN

do you really think the flag would fly less 'strong' if the US started fewer wars (Iraq today - Iran tomorrow?)

Honestly, despite whether the war is right or wrong, it's still a war. Men and Women are still doing thier job, and I believe I should support thier efforts. Again, thank you for viewing. Our Flag flies strong because of the ones who brought that freedom, not because a war is or isn't started. Thank you.

SEMPER FI! thank you David, this one goes, with your permission of course, on the desktop. As it flew over Fort McHenry, this one shall fly forever as well. As the song goes, "This Lady may have Stumbled, but she ain't never fell. Tell me this folks, when the going gets nasty, who do they call? Like us or hate us, the USA is the one that gets the call!

A beautiful capture of a flag that actually represents all the opinions reflected here. That's America, folks.

'...if the US started fewer wars...' You'd think we thought it was a game with an thoughtless comment like that. Well guys, when Iran explodes a muke, peacefully of course, let's hope it's not in the US. AND while I'm at it... Folks, those 'Support Our Troops' ribbons -- everyone I've thought of buying is "Made in China." Thus every purchase of these supports 'our' troops... provided 'we' are the Peoples' Liberation Army. Patriotism is fine, but don't be gullible about it; be aware and smart.
