Wow! That thing's almost 50 years old. Wish you could get a new car for $1297 these days! Plus it's so light that if it broke down you could just about pick it up and carry it to the mechanic! Cute shots!

never saw one of these before, it looks like a crossing betwen a VW and a Fiat 600. Guess the engine is on the back of it, and the doors open backward?

About 1/8th the H.P. and 3x the MPG of its modern cousins... Never saw one that old before (the first ones I've ever seen were the mid-80's models), I'm suprised how strong the VW & Fiat influence is on the design.

Superb! What a find. and fantastic photo. I know so little about cars, so can't comment, but to say that it's beautiful. I once had a Datsun 2000, and loved that car, so can really appreciate this one. BIG HUGS!!!!!!!

Holy cow! 2 cylinders, at 25HP? WREEEEEEEE! 0-60 in, make that 0-40, in under 3 minutes. DOH! Did they actually sell any of these here in America? I don't recall ever seeing this model, EVER! Thanks for posting your marvelous captures of it. Too funny though (the car). Now that's what I call a "lemon." Have a great day my friend!
