Hi my name is Bill(started here as Primaltruck). I am an old hippy from the santa cruz mountains.I live with my wife and kids Alice and Chris..we also have 2 other kids Jason and leah, that are married and live elswhere..we live in the redwood forest with a spring and waterfall on our property and about 700 2nd growth redwoods..My artwork is definetly inspired by were i live and my family. My daughter(Alice) being a Tatoo artist and wife being my worst critic.she knows me and knows how to tell me when something doesnt look right without getting under my skin..Alice likes all art so she always says good things that help inspire me and i try to do the same for her..if you look at my rendorosity gallery you will see that i had a pretty rough start and took a year or so to get the hang of 3D art as i have always scetched and painted and created..But learning how to deal with something new is always an adventure..and its been a lot of fun and i have made alot of friends along the way.I mostly use Bryce and Poser and Photoshop on a Dell PC..and plan on getting Vue in the near future..and...I couldnt talk about art with out mentioning Dudley Wade(Prog)Who was one of my first friends here and a heck of a great teacher and i think i learned more from his advise and studying his art than anything else....I dont think i have a style, except that my style is in doing something different when i can think of it!and the longer i post art in these galleries the more i realize that its not really about the art but about the friendships made....getting better with our art is just icing on the cake..I have also been a musician all my life and have played guitar for 30 some odd years..Loving everything from Mel Torme to Jimi Hendrix to all the great new music i hear..some Favorites..Frank Zappa,Stevie Ray Vaughn,Beatles,Pink Floyd,Yes,Scott Henderson,Steve Vai,Joe Satriani,Steve Morse,Nuno Bentencourt,Paul Gilbert,Vinnie Moore,Frank Gambale,Al Dimeola,Les Paul,Chet Atkins,Speedy wes,Jimmy Brynt,Barney Kestle,Charlie Byrd, and many more..i have been posting at renderosity mostly and at Dreamslayerart,Tapestry of dreams,Innertraveler, artzone, renderotica and 3DCommune..not all at the same time...lol...I am very easy to get along with and treasure the friendships made here..I am not afraid to speak up for what i believe in ,am strictly non violent, love nature, and always looking for fun and a reason to celebrate life...so dont be afraid to say hello or ask for help..I dont bite that hard...Love and Peace and Respect.

Cool image, Hon! I happen to have a job where testing positive for the stuff will get me fired, so I won't comment on your statements above. But I'm glad you are the person you are! You are definitely one of the most creative artists I know, and I'm glad you're my bud! hugs

Smilin' at primaltruck. First, well done artwork!! Second, methinks ya' might get some 'heat' for this one from some? WINK. (Welcome to T.P.'s world of writings - lol). My own simple perspective says if someone is of legal age it's a free country. I've worked with domestic abuse shelters and seen countless ladies beaten up by alcohol drunk hubbys. I've also seen far too many car crashes resulting in injury and deaths from booze. All kinds. I've seen society get addicted on legal, prescription, mind altering drugs. It may not be what "I" would choose to do or not do but I think Americans should be free to choose their lifestyles. Or, as Ronald Reagan once said, "Keep the government out of our lives". George Carlin has a funny line awhile back -- "Give all the people in prisons marijuana. There won't be any need for guards." WINK. Good luck, my good man. PEACE to you and yours. T.P.

Here, here Bill... top man, top man... just another example of the US administrations control it has over it's people, if it's not busy demolishing twin towers, then it's meddling in petty issues like the legalisation of pot... for Christs sake when will people grow up!!!! (V)

Well, you have courage Bill, and you are 100 percent correct. I've played in bands for over 30 years and have known hundreds of "Potheads"! I'm not saying that in a derogatory way either! I've smoked pot hundreds of times, never getting addicted and never having any ill effects. I don't smoke now for other reasons! The government banned pot when they ended prohibition around 1931 or 32! This was to stimulate the sale of booze, and still have someone to chase after! They falsely linked pot with hard drugs which has caused so many kids to go on to hard drugs when they learned that pot was not addictive. These kids then took worse drugs thinking they were not addictive too. Also, kids had to buy pot from people who were interested in making money, and some of those people pushed hard drugs too. The government created criminals out of normal people, and drug addicts too with their propaganda. I never met one person who threw up from pot, but booze... That's another story! And it's booze that causes car accidents, spousal abuse and worse, not pot! I applaud you for your honesty! VOTE! And Favs!

Nice work. I however, don't agree, and don't think that I have been "brainwashed",.......your beliefs may be true,........If you are NOT an addict or alcoholic,........I too have seen many addicts and alcoholics try to get off one substance or another using cannibis, only to eventually fall back into the same old traps. And yes, I speak from personal experience(I used herion and alcohol and pot for 35 years), I could not stop substance abuse until I stopped ALL mood altering chemicals. Like I said,....what you say may be true for non-addicts and non-alcoholics. I would caution that both sides of the issue have their propagandists. Anyhow, I sincerly hope we can agree to disagree. I do however agree on the decriminalisation side of this issue. At any rate,........nice render.

cool concept and creation!

Not an Addict or Alcoholic..and i do agree as a Gateway drug it does drop peoples Barriers to other drugs that have been a problem to them in the past..i dont advocate doing anything harmful to yourself and if pot makes you want to drink or do coke then stay far away from it as you can, because alcohol and cocaine kill people everyday(good friends included)..The debate is never ending...

I am a pothead and a cigarette smoker and i can honestly say that the cigarettes are so much worse than pot, i can go days without a hit from the pipe but i suffer after a few hours of not having a cig. I have watched drugs like crystal meth or cocaine turn some of the prettiest women into horible looking girls not to mention wierd. I have found pot to be the best cure for a hangover, calms your stomach and gets rid of the nausia. Awesome render my friend! Where did you get the bong, yeah, i said it, BONG! Tobacco water pipe? I have tried to smoke tobacco through a BONG and it was the harshest thing i have ever done, anyone who thinks that people are buying them for tobacco are dreaming.

4/20.... I know well of it because my son celebrates it not only every year, but every day LOL I am one of the lunatic fringe who has always believed pot should be legalized. More damage is done with the legal "weed" than was ever seen done by the so called "illegal" one...so party on Dude...and enjoy!! Oh...and the image is out of this world!!!
ericfarris
Magnific art Bill, well I'm not sure to all understand to your words, then I don't speak, just about your style in this wonderful image!!!! MAGNIFIC!!!!!

What nature created - let no man (or government) take away! I'm not a smoker, cause years ago I had one joint and thought a mailbox was a guitar. Back then it scared me... now it would probably amuse me and I'd start playing it. I say bravo for you, Bill, do your thing in life and in art. You are such a giving person in everyway! :BTW - what a fantastic image. :o) CC
