Description

Deep sea world North Queensferry I took my daughter to the deep sea centre near Edinburgh on Sunday morning. It boasts the longest underwater glass tunnel in the world. As you go through, your inches away from nasty looking 9ft long Sharks cruising menacingly by. Halfway along Sian (aged 5) announced at the top of her voice, "THIS IS BORING" I made her go through again! Obviously not pink enough for her?

Fantastic POV. Not something I'd want to see without a very thick piece of glass between us.

Boring? If only you could move her to the other side of the glass... Umm... But watching fish for the most part (outside of feeding time) is usually a calm & peaceful thing.

Great shot, Anthony. Sorry to say but as they grow up into adulthood, children still keep saying 'B-O-R-I-N-G-!', but in a more practised and emphatic manner.. Talking to their pals, in order to impress theie peer group, they are sometimes heard bragging about what they called boring, and now claim is 'C-O-O-L-!' Luckily my grandson has not reached the 'I'm not impressed!' stage yet. He is still transfixed by goldfish and minnows, but then they are so much smaller than him. Likewise artifacts so much bigger than he is, such as trains and earth-moving machines etc., are 'F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C-!' Regards, John.

Ha ha, maybe it looks boring until it flashes its way to her closing in until reaching the glass... It's great to see how close you can reach them here!

Maybe if they put stickers on the glass tunnel and balloons. sounds typical of my tribe. Sian would probably like the ones in Oz, the divers get down amongst them. I'll post one to show ya. We have a long one nearby at Seaworld (Gold Coast). Manly (Sydney) has a big one too. Lots of shark and all for six squid.
