Description
I had one of these as an Airfix model when I was a kid, always have loved the design of this plane.
I was trying for patchy cloud over the sea, not really sure that I'm happy with it, but here it is anyway...
Thanks for looking, comments welcome as usual.
Cheers
Andy.

I recall a pilot telling me, that the Phantom proved that if you put enought power to it even a brick would fly. Agree with you, always liked the look of these bad boys, regardless of flight characteristics; wonderful render, more like oil work on the planes and clouds; the sea seems odd to my eye on the texture pattern tho.

Minor things aside, this is excellent! I would like to see more scenes with this Phantom.

Like VRG said, other than minor repetition in textures on the water, I like it very much. I probably should purchase Bazze's F4, but I still think I will make my own. Great work.

The F-4 I spent hundreds of hours in the cockpit checking radio and nav systems. (compared to a F-104 it is a glider) We took a ragtag bunch of F-4E's against TAC headquarters F-15's we were flying as agressors. What happened made the brass there furious. We not only were giving too much competition to the 15's we were winning in a big way it was a lopsided victory for the F-4's that coupled with the disheveled look of our planes and people ensured that we were never invited there again. Good for us I am alergic to brass.

I really like this and agree with all the other comments made. As a kid growing up on Okinawa in the mid sixites, I got to see lots of these babies. I was not so fond of them at the time preferring more photogenic planes like the R5 Vigilante and the Crusader. I certainly have a soft spot for them now. Please try a render with a photo background. PLEASE?
