Description

Some trees have a remarkable history. I don't know what has happened here, but I did not get the impression this hunchback is grown in this way by its genes. Maybe another tree fell on it, but I'm fascinated to see it found a way to grow upward somehow. Minolta X-700 (Agfa 100 CTi, 50 mm and cropped) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

This must definitely be an "Enchanted" forest!! Another very magical and strange looking tree is living there! Quite a beautiful capture of it...love the textures and color you achieve even in this low light. Amazing photo once more Jan-Carel!! drops little pieces of bread along the path as we follow Jan-Carel through the magic forest

what is amazing is a tree will stand like this against all odds and then a healthy tree will be uprooted by a storm. super subject Jan-Carel

Yes, I always have the same questions when I look at those trees. I always call them 'statues of nature'. Beatiful capture JC.

Amazing how nature always seems to find a way to keep on going as in this case. Makes for some unusual tree formations as you have captured here! Well done! Aloha~

This looks just like another tree fell on it; the amazing thing is that it was flexible enough not to break. Another wonderful photo, Jan-Carel.
