Description
A long time ago the earth was covered with beautiful birds but no flowers
The sky was filled with a kaleidoscope of colors but the earth was colorless
The earth, wanting to experience the energy of color asked the bird spirit to give her a feather but the bird spirit laughed and said, "color is for the sky not the earth and that's the way it's always been"
The earth was patient and waited centuries for the bird spirit to change his mind but he always responded, "color is for the sky not the earth and that's the way it's always been"
Eventually, the earth grew her own flower but it was colorless. Upon seeing this the bird spirit laughed saying, your flower has no color. The earth responded, "The color is on the inside".
Being curious, the bird spirit swooped down inside the flower and was trapped for 100 years and then released by the earth.
To this very day the earth is covered with a kaleidoscope of colorful flowers, emanating color from the inside out and perhaps just perhaps if you look closely at a flower you will be able to see the bird spirit.
...and that's the way it's always been ;>)))

Wow, that's amazing!!! I was so caught up in the story!!! Written like a fable with a great lesson to learn "It's not the outside that counts, it's what's inside that matters". I also see the little bird sitting on the right as if protecting it's treasure. The color from within!!!
