Nice shot. I like the hint of sunlight and the DOF fading to black in the background. A very gentle picture.

I'm guessing you mean the fruit tastes weird not the leaves. If it's anything like the quinces I've seen around here, it's a citrus-type tree, the fruit is sour, looks a bit like a tiny orange. Great pic.
