Wow, what a sad story. You sound like me. I have been feeding all the cats in the neighborhood for I don't know how long and housing (in a dog house with straw) a cat that adopted me. I hope you can find a solution. I am so sorry for the loss of Obi. Such a beautiful cat.

Bummers! This is one of the reasons I can't have animals...their death is just too hard on me. I love em to death but just can't deal with the end of it. Might look at giving the kitty to the Humane Society if you have one there. They can handle the details for you. Lovely shot of Obi here...I'm sure you miss her as I miss my cat! Aloha to you buddy!

when I was walking yesterday I saw a female pit bull that obviously had chewed through a rope which was dumb of the owner. there was a lady walking with her three young children and the dog kept wanting to go to them. I tried to get her to come to me but she was afraid of men. she was even afraid of my camera. I had to leave her there in the park, but I was hoping to get her in my car to take to the animal shelter. you are dammed if you do and dammed if you do not. your kitten probably will survive, they are quite hardy animals. decisions decisions!!!

so sad of a story. I cannot tell you what to do but I would ask around and if no one wants , well there two things to do If you got the money go to the vet. If not give it to some one that will take care of it but do not ask how[ you will feel worst then]

oh.... I regret my heart for Obi... I know this feeling very extremely morally when I lost my Micoud and I know what is to see suffering without being able to do something. 6 months ago, I had a new cat which is called Douglas and he gave again in me the smile. For the sentimental people like me or you or others, to lose an animal it's something of horrible, but it's the life my heart... I hope that little kitty will be better. The only council I give you and to speak to him but the animal must return in confidence and gives him to eat and of water... After, time will do his work, with good or evil... It's the destiny of this cat... Excellent shot For Obi, he's very beautiful ;) Animate you!;) good sunday and kiss my heart...

I know how you feel....i can't even begin to understand how people can be cruel to animals...who are the only ones that give unconditional love to the very end.

If no one claims this kittyin a couple of days...take it to the vet for a check up nad if healthy ...keep it and call it Yoda...It's really great that you have a bunch of Obi pics to keep the memories warm in your heart...things will work out.

Personaly, should attempt Eija and the little kitty live together...cause Eija is a female and adult animals very often protect youngers, even another kind of them... Aw.I remember when you lost sweet Obi.I am sorry for your dilemma. When one is an animal lover,as I know you to be,it is hard to do nothing and sit idly by.If the cat is friendly, chances are it is not wild, and may be someone's lost pet.Couldn't you at least post some pics of him in your town, and in the meantime give him temporary shelter? The wound however, may need medical attention.Perhaps your vet would be kind enough to take a look at the little fellow.I hope it all works out and that solution does indeed, present itself. You're a good soul,Andreas. There are many who would do nothing. He was lucky to find your doorstep.Good luck,Gommie.-M

Animals are pretty strong when they're loved, so there's hope for this kitty!!!! I'm sure that's why he/she came to you... cats do have 9 lives so hopefully this one has some of those left... good luck, we're all pulling for her... ; )

I love animals so much. I would rather see one put to sleep humanely than left to starve to death and create more kittens/cats that cannot care for themselves. You have a beautiful heart and I am sure you will find the best solution. God bless you for your love of animals.
