area. They search the place, including a full sensor scan
just to make sure there aren't any hidden surprises lurking
about. There is only one item of note. Pulling away a
dusty old tarp, Yuki uncovers the Golden Gabrilax! The Gabrilax is an important historical artifact to the
people of Dazon IV, and was stolen from a museum some
years ago. There was still an outstanding reward for
its safe return. As Yuki assesses her find, Little Bot
peers over her shoulder for a better look. Note: This image is a bit of an inside joke (and an obscure
one at that). A while ago at the DAZ forums, I created a
thread called "Merchants Beware!" in which I joked about
selling this gabrilax model with no morphs, no rigging, and
no textures for $100. It was the result of an early Hexagon
tutorial, and about the crudest model you could imagine.
But it amuses me greatly that this crappy little trinket
should be worth so much to our heroes. And now you know all the behind the scenes trivia to
fully appreciate this wonderful image. Don't you feel special? :) Credits: e-frontier, Stonemason, Luthbel, Tiff785...and ME!

Heh, I think I remember seeing that thread once. Well, you know what they say, one man's trash... Also reminds me of Indianna Jones a little, the ol' "idol swap" scene. Wonder if the results are going to be similar. ;)

Well, you made me smile! You do realise that the name "The Golden Gabrilax" is going to stick, don't you. Seriously though, you set these scenes up and light them so well - they really need to be illustrating some stories. Perhaps you need to put pen to paper during those renders:) Keep them comming!
