Hi, my name is Bert Verstappen, living in Antwerp@Belgium and 23 years old.
I manly spent my time discovering 2D/3D-imaging, webdesign, and multi-media and i love it.
Have a nice time at renderosity!
BIOGot my master in ProductDevelopment (~Industrial Design) and a post-bachelor Multi-media Design.
My interest in graphics obviously started while studying ProductDevelopment. This is a 5year course about design theory, economics, science/technology, sketching, 3d-modeling. During this course i discovered Rhinoceros and LightWave, and until now these together with photoshop and flash are the main tools i'm trying to master.
Currently I'm doing some freelance work in 2D-3D-imaging and webdesign.

Nice concept, but I'm not stunned...Sorry...These kind of images are often taken with the aid of golddust sprayed onto the patch within the field of view to help project the "scene". You should try to achieve a result that mimics this. Otherwise it's a good concept though. Also, you could benefit from being a bit more detailed in your modeling. You're in the right direction.

looks good buddy. Try some Depth of field to give it an added "micro" look. also, skim that close would have texture to it. maybe a quick procedual would help? Like "cellular".

Nicely done! It has the look and feel of an indie animated film. :o)

Thanks for the tips/comments! logo, you're right about the realism, I mostly tend to do quick experimental renders, discovering LW's diversity, and thereby not paying enough attention to detailling. I'm aware of this and I'll work on it.
