Description

Right now they/we are having a huge Fiesta all around San Antonio. Downtown they had a river parade. There's also a parade through the streets, lots of food from different countries down at La Villita, rides, music, art exhibits and partying everywhere. There was even an oyster bake at one of the colleges. Fiesta Texas or Night in Old San Antonio. NIOSA-some people pronouncing i with as a long i, and others pronouncing the i as an e...depending on how you want to do it, coming here and walking along the Riverwalk and enjoying all the festivities is something to put on your agenda whenever you can do so. By the way, there are gobs of cascarones everywhere-egg shells full of confetti. This fractal reminded me of them. Enjoy! (: Formula-tma3.ufm, Dark Brew07. First layer-standard.ucl, Gaussian Integer. Second layer-akl.ucl, Hevier Curve. Third layer-standard.ucl, Orbit Traps. Thanks for the very nice comments on 'UF-Heart Flowers!' You know I'm not a particularly 'flowery' kinda person, so it's especially sweet when I come across some that I want to post. I'm glad you enjoyed it. oxoxoxoxoxoxo's!!!!!! ...oh!...The border was done in PSP with Filter Attacks and a little PSP noise 'n' beveling the noise dots.

Your work on the border really gives it the confetti feel with the look of torn paper. Certainly captures the festive atmosphere you describe, it sounds like you know how to have a good time!

Great image, Carol! Love the really festive look! I know all too well the festival you are talking about! I spent a couple of years in and around San Antonio!
