Description

Well, I wanted to do a portrait. And, well, this is it. :) I tried my hand at subsurface scattering and playing around in the material room. Looks excellent!! I havent tried any of that stuff in poser yet. Most of my stuff is rendered in Bryce. So sorry... no tips for ya! But looks like you have a good handle on it!!!

Whoa! That looks like a translator I know, minus the pointy ears and skin glyphs. What a shocker. The skin looks good, especially with those bruise-like colorations around the lips, cheeks, and eyes. I think it would be even better, hyperrealistic even, with a bump or displacement to suggest an essence of pores. Good job on the gaze posing. Super background, too.

Cool morph and texture, I think the fastscatter works good on his head, maybe some darker color on the node would give more contrast, but for an alien its a matter of taste..LOL no realism possible in fantasy land..:-) Fastscatter works not with all lightsetups must be dialed in new if ya change lights. Some specular nodes for the dress would be nice to match the quality of the skin. ~Uwe
