Description
Another Star that has run out of puff and is in Mssr Messier's 'Do not look here these are not comets, N'est Pas' list. I choose some funny stuff don't I.
Mssr Messier called this M57, others call it the Ring Nebula, I call it beautiful.
It is over 1100 light years away and a lot younger than the Dumbell nebula in my previous post.
So it looks small and much like a little dust donut that Mssr Messier might have found under the cooker when he was looking for comets.
Again I used a Toucam Webcam, electronically bastardized so I can take 30x60sec exposures with it. It is attached to an 80mm telescope.
