This is a texture I cooked up tonight. Stayed
up too late to do it. I'm going to be offering
this texture through the Renderosity store. Comments
please. I'm still tweaking the texture.

Looking good, verdie. All good comments above. My only other observation is that, to my eye, the red on his tongue and the bright red/yellow of his eyes don't quite jive with his purple body. Perhaps a blue/black tongue (like a chow dog)? And icier eyes?

The mottled texture on the side of his face looks good. The distinct banding on his nose and the top of his head doesn't looke quite right (it looks like the texture map stretched). If the stretching in those areas is unavoidable, changing them to be subtle variations of purple rather than high-contrast whites and purples would make the stretching less obvious. I like the pitting on his teeth. The top of the tongue texture looks good, though the banding on the sides is the same issue as on his nose. I'd expect the spikes down his back to be a darker color than the rest of his skin as they are presumably solid cartilege with no bloodflow. The cornea of the eye is very nice. I'd recommend rounding the iris a bit more if possible: it looks very polygonal. Ok, thats all the comments I have.

agree with all of the above comments, also, due to the way the texture map for the dragon is set up, you may want to shrink the texture for his body, so that it blends with his head better...for the eyes I suggest whiting his actual pupil out in materials and painting your own, to loose the polygonal shape...It looks very nice though, Great Work!

I love those eyes! And sorry for such a short comment in comparison to the others!

Hey folks, Verdie didn't do this, my sister Liz does Poser and I think she did a terrific job on this one!!! Of course I'm predjudiced in her favor. LOL Verdie : )

I agree with most comments. Though the "Stretching" on the nose & sides of the tongue is the UVMap's fault! Not Liz! I myself, i've been trying lately to remap it so these little "Bug" go away. Lovely Work Liz!
