Description

This started out as one large spiral ammonite. We always enjoyed fossil hunting and ammonites are fairly common in this area. Then it just evolved into what you see here. The much simpler black and white sketch has hung on the wall in my office for many years. It has been very amusing to watch people study it for a minute till they finally "get it". Funny, it seems the women always laughed a lot more then the men did. Wonder why? :)) I've always wanted to render that sketch as an image and it seemed that a cave painting or fossil footprints suited the theme of this idea. This is a hoot! I have "devolved" from the last stage of authority,though - tennis shoes are now my friends:) As always, your command of shapes and textures is fascinating, and this "cave painting" is no exception! Fine work,and a great chuckle!
