Description
Inspired by the story of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the flight of Lot and his family - Genesis 19:26, specifically. Enhanced a bit by a story in Reader's Digest about 25 years ago.
While fleeing, Lot's wife, upon looking back at the destruction, was turned into a "pillar" of salt. A bit of artistic license has made her a statue instead.
Created Mrs. Lot with Poser 6 - basic Winter Angel figure, I think - and imported her into Bryce 5 for the texture and landscape.

I really like this. It captures the story perfectly and at the same time is fun to look at-- the setting as well as the figure.
