Description

This is my first drawing using my new tablet :) . But I cheated a little. The sketch was done on paper, and the inking with the tablet but even then I cheated and used the same method that I developed with the mouse. Then what was the point? I don't know really, but it felt much better, it was kind of more sensual (in a primitive sense you perverted :D ) On the subject there is not much to say, only that I went a little carzy here. See, I wanted to design a new outfit for Ariel, but I ended giving her an armor! What is the big deal? That she should not be able to use one. But as I said, I went a little crazy and inspired by the high level mages on Fire Emblem (a series of Nintendo), I though it would be cool to give her some protection (even if it doesn't cover that much ;P ) and this is what I got. If you are picky like me, then lets say it's an elven armor given to her because of exceptional circumstances (some big war that comes or something...). That's it. As always, comments are welcome

i think it looks great!!!!! i just got a wacom the other day too!! so have been practising sketching then doing a new layer for inking!! i think when you forget your mouse technique you will love your tablet as it is so close to drawing(just a bit different)did you go for that canvas-feel to the background or was that the result of scanning it in!!!!by the way i don't think you have cheated in any way as the final image is all that is important!!! how you get there and what tools you use is up to you!!!!and your end result is a stylish anime-style drawing!!i like it votewell done!!!!!!!!

Its a good looking sketch, although that waistline seriously threw me off. I've been guilty of exagerating the female form myself from time to time, but damm that waist is just too dammed thin

I love it! I have to disagree with chimera46 comment regarding the waist size. While it is very thin, it helps to make your style, YOUR STYLE!
