This looks amazing, and you started from scratch and did this whole thing in a week ?

its not as hard as you might think, especially if you have good blueprints and lots of reference pics.

So... The way you specify that the paste is bumpmapped, I guess the bolts and other details on the wheels and tracks are all modeled, huh? Gah... The detail level just makes me shiver with joy. I -love- delicious little details like that. I'm currently working on the final project for my first maya class, and a biological form was specified... I can hardly wait to start playing with more mechanical forms. Wet navy ships and spaceships are what I'm planning on focusing on. Thank you for another inspiring and excellent picture. :-)

Excellent model, are you finish with texturing?

Great model. I wll say I have never seen anyone model the porshe turret so if I do one it will have to be the porshe just to be different.

Excellent model as usual, with high end details ! Luv it.... Did you even thought about doing a Maus ? Well there the blueprints could really be the trickiest part :)

Technically . . . the "Porsche" turret is just an early production turret and the "Henschel" turret is an improved, later production turret (Neither actually made turrets). I'm just . . . amazed. Wow. Maybe if the sprockets could be moved forward a tad and the wheel/track "assembly" raised just a bit . . . outstanding . . . I really like this, dude. 8-)
