Description
This one started out in Bryce as a quick planetscape background which was going to be a quick setup & render to use as a placeholder background for some poser renders.
Started out just wanting to give the original some tweaks and color adjustments in PS. When for some reason I went and tried a filter on it. A early stage of this was the result. Ended up with this after about 4-5 layers of various degrees and tones.

kinda hard to believe it started from bryce, but all the same, excellent 'render'!
