Description

Many, many hours of work to obtain this picture. Some of the early settings were made with Christianfly (for our 'Tiwinoa' teamwork) but I changed most of all. The terrain was made with WM 1.25 (size 2049 x 2049). Final render : 4800 x 3600 pixels (more than 21 hours of rendering !) Postwork : resize & sharpen. - Thanks for viewing & comments - I would especially like all the advices to improve the realism of the render :)

This is an excellent look-a-like to the real world "bora bora" island. Bora bora collapsed in on itself, creating the lagoon. The outer ring is the islands old shoreline.

This is one of the best tropical pictures I've seen, they're my favourite! I wouldn't change a thing and I think the water looks just fine, very realistic to my mind esp from that height. (Fingers crossed you make this ter file available in the free section ...) Thanks for sharing you did a great job here - well worth the effort. Now get this printed and put in on your wall! LOL
