Harpers Ferry is home to some of the most macabre stories in haunted American history!
Why the very hotel, the Hilltop House, you will be staying at is supposed to be haunted by a multitude of ghosts! One of the most famous (or infamous!) is that of a crying child that is said to inhabit Room #66! She died in a fire in 1917 (one of three to have plagued the Hilltop!) and the picture of her that hangs in that room is said to weep real tears!
