I started Brycing in November of 2003 after being introduced to it through the owner of www.mulawa.net, Peter Hewitt. He created a set of tutorials and sent a group of us a book called Advanced Bryce Creations. His generoisity has led to many hours of joy for me as I create the images you will see in my gallery.
I was able to start Brycing because I no longer worked as a CAD drafter at the local foundry which lost most of its business to overseas businesses. My husband supports me for the time being but says when he retires, I get to go back to work so we have health insurance. We will see :D
Stats: Female, married, no children, brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses, drink Bacardi Limon and diet Pepsi(have since given this up...I still miss it, lol), love to golf, camp, play PC games and Bryce. I used to love to tend my garden so that's where my nick came from...Burpee Seeds.
Boring? Maybe but I'm happy :)

Fantastic composition and POV. I'm sorry you didn't win. I don't know if it's original or not but the image is very well done. Now, for once that you make a naked character, not only I think is the wrong gender but we also don't see anything. 8-) Fantastic lighting.

I think it Is original! Well, at least I've never seen one like it before. I think it's a great idea very executed; the lighting, composition and make up of the vines/branches/roots are all great! Well done, I say, and sorry you didn't win, but we get this treat out of it!

Wonderful image. Nice colors and lighting and it leaved me wondering. What is he trying to escape from? Perhaps a followup? S

Wow! Such an intriguing image ... are those umbilical cords attached to the character? Fraught with munchies for thought. Excellent!! **

We all get out inspiration from somewhere and then make it our own and this is wonderful and very original..I know I've never seen anything resembling it. This is a winner any way you look at it. Fantastic artowkr.

You'd get a chuckle out of one of my earliest posts, "Le Papillon" (http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=185854, but I sure like this one better. bravo!

This stimulates my imagination. This is my imagination. Our souls are connected with the container of body by the silver codes to obtain a material experience in this world. Each spiritual levels are different, so each experiences are not the same. And negative causality also is adjusted this world. This world is too hard for a certain person. But the god doesn't give the luggage that cannot be shouldered. Excellent surreal work!!

Looks great Nancy, actually some of those vines remind me of umbilical-cords and his ties to Mother Nature ? better luck next time in the compotitions !!! LOL & ~Cheers~ :o)

this is a fantastic image worthy to pose challenge ! bad luck you did'nt win. indecisiveness about the character makes it more enigmatic and thought provoking.
cosmoz
This is really dramatic, you certainly won in my book!!! I love the way the vines take on a sureal quality, the glimpse of light, worth reaching for!!!!

Yeah, I do like it. I'm sure the image can be interpeted in many different ways. One is that trees spirit wants to be free yet, the tree will not release it. Corny I know, but it's early. Awesome image and it's a winner in my book.
