Great work. The focus is on the exactly right point. The colors makes the image unique.

That title always makes me smile, because in German "Tussi" is a quite rude word for "gal". And "lago" always makes me think of a lake, so I can't help thinking of a lake full of terrible girls, which of course doesn't make the image any less beautiful.

Outstanding image - the light and colour depth are just magical - a perfect 10 ! Not been smoking these plants have you? Here we call it Coltsfoot it is used as a herbal tobacco.

"...That is one gorgeous macro. The unusual PoV, striking saturated colors and color combo, sharp details and composition make it a WEINER! You need to post this one!" And I stand by that statement. ;] SO, you got your new camera and didn't even tell me!?! No wonder we don't see or hear much from you lately, you've been too busy playing. I can't wait to see some new shots from it. (Figures that Moonbeam would be smoking the flowers from your garden, heheheheh)

Wow Andreas!! You got a new cam????? OMG that is so exciting! When did you get it, what kind did you get, how come you didn't tell us all? LOL Well, you may have...I've been a little late at catching up here. :-/ This is a gorgeous macro of such a pretty and bright yellow flower! The dark colors of the ground give it such nice contrast. It's so perfectly clear and crisp... fantastic! :-) V

Superb macro, Andreas. I love the color saturation you got. I was thinking, you could combine two passions and take some pics of water drops splashing off flowers. Even better if you take them with the new camera. ;-)

Great colours but perhaps a bit more DOF might have helped bring out the flower more

Andreas!!! You are the man.. That flower even tho it is ugly as some other people call it.. but it is still a flower tho.. And you really captured that Dandelion with a very special way! You are a master Mr. The architecture of the dandelion is a useful metaphor for our approach to achieving beautiful design and efficiency of purpose. A close look at an unfolded dandelion reveals silvery seedpods radiating from a central stem, and ready to take flight. Each pod is a spokewise structure too, of delicate plant fiber, designed to ride the slightest breeze as it propels and protects the seed at its hub. Like the form of the dandelion, each publication or element of a communications system we design, is structured as part of a greater wholealways centered on our client's vision, goal, or mission. Very, very impressive Zacko.. And you will make me shoot another one now :)) Have a lovely day and here is a bog VOTE to you and your post my friend!!

But it's such a lovely tussilago, so beautifully photographed too! As long as the tussilagos that follow this one are just as fantastic, or better - I could let you slide for a little while longer I guess. But I gotta say, I can't wait to see some of the shots you've captured with you D200 (sitting on one ass-cheek, then the other, with great anticipation and restraint). Excellent image for today buddy! Hope you're have a blast of a time! L8R bro!
