LadyWailua
Incredible invasion ! ;-) Very fine lighting and materials ! The only thing - as woz2002 said - is the same static pose on all models ... But I'm still a big fan of this extraordinary "Jaybeeh-ish" style ! ;-)

Curious, has a look of metallic Locust things preparing to take flight - Me I'd crop the three stragglers on the right and yes would like to see another render with some different poses but this is still great as it stands. Or hows about leaving as is and have one just staring menacingly at the camera? .... but they're huts right?

Klasse Opjekt und Mojoarbeit !

Thanks for the feedback folks!.....Yes Woz..very interested in changing the static pose...mail's on the way...."rbutt"..Yes Bob I like the "one staring at the camera" thing...and you're correct...they are "occupied dwellings"...^_^.

2nd post...I hate it when the first is deleted. Jeff, you can create the Variable pose by doing a few very simple changes. You will need to edit the "mesh" & remove the legs & possibly the tail if you want to vary that also. Edit them to a point where adding additional details (intersection) can be covered. What you need to do is create a MJT mesh & import the top half. Then create Children for the legs & tail with MJT Branches that you model directly. Now you have a model that can be posed as you require by using the tilt & segment features to your own needs. You could even make these meshes JUMP :)

You just keep getting better. For some reason the update to the 'rosity software has ended up not giving me all of my favorite artist notices. Glad to have caught this one.

Superb image - the stuff or nightmares, really, and strangely reminiscent of Dali. Wonderful lighting and colour balance.

The atmosphere and ambience are very, very nice! One critique: the first thing I noticed when the pic loaded was the static composition in that the horizon line and the placement of the machines all converged to cut the pic nearly in half, i.e. all the legs are below the horizon and all the huts are above it. Altering the this somehow would strengthen the composition. That aside, the image reminds me strongly of a snippet of verse from Mathew Arnold: "And we are here as on a darkling plain Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight, where ignorant armies clash by Night." Way cool modelling, BTW HG Guy
