Description

Relics by ZOT Created: 2-May-2006 Created with: Bryce 5.01, Geocontrol v1.00 demo (for terrain(s) creation) ======================================= About: ------- The free demo of Geocontrol (a commercial program for creating terrains that can be used in other programs) has a 30 day useage on it before it conks out so every now and again I have a bit of a fiddle and play with it. I created a terrain and imported it into Bryce then whilst looking for a nice camera viewpoint I found this bit of crumple in the mesh edge seen from underneath the terrain mesh. (think of a crumpled up bit of paper pulled out a bit and you'll get the idea) So I made it a 'cave' scene, together with a dupe of the terrain for more 'ground' terrain. The truth is that if you move the camera a little bit to the right the reality is revealed but like I always say, "If you can fake it and get away with it, do it!" :-) The strange golden shapes in the background is just a 3D model I made years ago and occasionally drop into a project. ;-) Z. ======================================= Geocontrol http://www.cajomi.de/GeoControl/geocontrol.htm ======================================= Freebies used: --------------- (note: these are things I downloaded many years ago) * SKY "Sunny Afternoon" A sky from: Skies Pack 1 (10 skies) Copyright Justin Sucharski, Headcheese Art & Design - June 2002 - BRYCE- * Smooth Mossy Rock (BRYCE mat on terrain(s)) (tweaked by me for my image) from: Curious 3D http://www.curious3d.com/ =======================================
