Description

Wow, this took me foreeeevvvver to do. The render was kind of like that Apollo 13 movie where they had to get things under 4amps or the ship would blow... I had to get my memory down before Vue would crash. One Render took 31 hours and the computer decided to crash as I saved the render. Then I re-rendered and found stuff I didnt like...more hours to render...like 21 hours...still didnt like it...I finally saw this huge error with my creek (that also made the render times huge...) I fixed that and the render was down to about 7 hours for Broadcast. This is Vue 5i with no post work. Textures by AsileFX for the rocks/earth. Xfrog for the trees. Vue for the rest. I love your comments good or bad so comment away and I hope you enjoy this one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow this looks great. A very lovely forest scene, with that painted look that I like. :D You have so much going on here I can see why Vue wanted to fight with you. There is only one thing that stands out, and that the area behind the two foreground trees on the left. You can see under your ground level on the other side. You should be able to pull that down a bit; other then that this is very lovely pic. I can tell a lot of work went into this minus the rendering time. lol Great work! :D

actually I think that is the reflection of the tree in the lake the blue part? just a lake with some reflectivity on it... cuz im not seeing anything peeking thru...

Beautiful image Chuck! You have my sympathy with Vue and I have problems with Vue and Poser too! Vue crashes all the time and so I've learned to save often as possible and watch that polygon count! I have Vue Espirit, and Infinite, and actually I have a better chance of getting a render done with Espirit! Excellent work by the way! (((V)))
