Description

Hello! This is a salty lake, down south australia. About 2 cm thin layer of salt on a muddy lakebed. While I was made this shot I sunk 6-8 cm in a salt and mud. Outcome... a prety flat picture and a dirty shoes! seeya

Doesnt a lake...eh...need water to be called a lake? God, im confused. LOL. I guess you could just pour out your french fries and eat them directly off the ground huh. Fascinating place. Excellent capture too, allowing that crack to give some sense of depth to it. Have a great day mate. #:O)

Good thing you didn't spend more time there! No telling how far you'd have sunk in. Cool shot and subject.

Andreas! In australia unfortunately not every lake has a privilege to contain water. After heavy rain, yes fills up, but a dry weather quickly make a water dissappear. This lake is called "Lake King" S 32" 38,36' - E 121"28,57'

My friend lives near Lake Eyre, another Australian salt lake. Is this one located near there? Beautiful shot! You can see the texture of the salty lake bed. :-)

I am glad you did not go any deeper. when I was a teenager and exploring I stepped on a dry storage pond for a drilling rig and I learned a hard lession. luckily I had the sense to fall backwards on to solid ground because I went down to my knees.went to a creek to get rid of all the mud. this is an awesome view. reminds me of Salt Lake in Utah
