Description

Some of you might recognize the young fae in this picture from my previously posted "Moon Dancer". For those who do not, she was a costumed player at the Sarasota Ren Fair several years ago. A slightly different angle from the first image (this was after the little girl she had been playing with had moved along). I really liked her expression, and the fact that she never broke character, even with all the distractions going on around her. Shot with my Pentax K-1000, using a 100 lens, on ISO 400 Illford XP 2 film. Scanned from the negative and cleaned up in Photoshop (the trouble with film, the odd scratch will happen, no matter how careful you are when handling them). Comments and crits area welcome, as always. Thanks to everyone for their comments on all my recent images... they are very much appreciated. Be good, and stop and look around today... you never know what you might see.

Interesting picture. The expression is very good; looks like she's listening for something.
