Description

Apophysis 2.04beta Can ya say that real fast 10 times? lol Woohoo! Finally got 04 to make something quasi-presentable. I've been flipping over the flames with "big", smooth shapes I've seen lately and finally made one of my own and just had to show y'all. Now to try for one of those tiled jobbies - I'm afraid those might take more horsepower than my melon can muster - tips/tuts??? lol Joie's back flaming and is starting to whine loudly about how slow her rig is with the new Apo and so I just MIGHT be able to finally talk her into new, faster pc's for BOTH of us. (Beeky snastard that I am, I went and raised her render quality by 5x to "25" when she wasn't around so that's why it's slow - bwaaahahahaha! All's fair in love and fractals! lol) Thanks for stopping by! Rick

lovely flame and wonderful result with 04. I have not been able to do any of those... Funny how you try to finagle a new faster system by slowing your wife down in rendering.. lol... sounds like something I would do but would never tell anyone......you are so spontanious....

What an aesthetically pleasing abstract! Love the wonderful smoothness, Rick, and the fun dimensionality and flow of forms. Very creative and delightful!

Wish I knew about this account of you two before, but only read the rykk interview today, but sure I will look some more through this gallery (bit overcommented blurry feeling in my head now, one day of fractal gallery and others is quite a lot of art to comment :)). Succes with getting your wife so far that you'll have some more GB soon :D. Nice image too ;)
