Description
This is one of my first macro attempts with a new camera. The flower is an orchid named "Hot Butter" Cymbidium that is growing in our garden. My wife loves to raise flowers especially orchids & we both want to dedicate this to Gary Gantney a.k.a."Gwyn Tyger" for all the marvelous pictures he has shared with the community. The camera is a Digital Casio Exilim EX-Z750 on macro setting, ASA 400, with a manual light setting.

Oh the advantages of living in a hot country - growing orchids OUTSIDE and not in a glasshouse, unlike where I live :(! They're beautiful :).

I once read that if plants had any intelligence; then, Orchids would be at the top of the list for their amazing diversity. Beautiful macro shot, lighting; and, all!
