Hello all!!
This week had been wierd ! It's been a crazy week of lizard finding lol. Hmmm, maybe someone let a bunch go. TOday I asked Janel to take Candi out for a walk .. she comes home screaming, ~~"!!! MOM I FOUND A HUGEee LIZARD OUT IN THE ROSES!!!""". At first I didnt think much of it cause she is always dragging things home. IF anything can be found she is the one that will find it . Janel is extreamly observant !!
I expected to see this dinky little fella . and LOL OMG!!! NO LIE SHE is standing there holding this BIG bearded dragon upside down by THE TAIL ... I said , "honey that has to be someones pet!!".. but we looked and couldnt find anyone!. She found it in the rose garden out in front!! SO we came in and I wanted to see if Candi got along with it . So stuck it on her head. Candi smiled and didnt try to attack the bearded dragon . Soon believe it or not , it and Candi bonded !! Hmm thinks Candi will bond with anyone !! (We couldnt JUST let it go because it was a domestic animal that had been released and almost dying of thirst and hunger.. ) SO REALLy this all went on a few hours ago.
The only thing is if we are going to keep the find have to go to get supplys for it. DRive to the store . 75 dollers for the huge aqauruim . $ for crikets and a light that stays on all night, and a book all bout the critter, and rocks and sand and plants.... . NOW the thing is IN my bedroom . Only place it would fit in the house.. SO Chirp chip ...crickets sigh ... light over the aquarium has to stay on ..ohh noo! it DOSN'T GO off supposed to be on all the time ... so chirping and light is on . My new sleeping arrangements cause of "THE FIND in the rose garden "!!
And we have a new little pet friend . Don't know her name yet what shall we call it?
(yeah so checked its a her yep according to the bearded dragon book we got after getting the aquarium lol)
Ok enuff of my venting about the new find ...
It's been a long day. I wanted to share it with you so put a collage today of shots taken . I don't know if this will stay in my gallery .. they are more of just sharing the day .. but it was fun putting it all together !!

This is a really cool pet that could provide many photo opportunities as it seems to already have done...... Wish we could find something like this here in NZ :D These all look like excellent photos!!! Thanks for sharing!!

LOL I was going to say the same thing as Pat.I love the shot of Candi winking.As to your new addition,life just has a way of bringing things together.Witness Andreas and all his 'strays'.It's what we do with them,I think,that matters.And you are clearly one of the good guys in my book.Lovely collage,Kimmie and hope you'll let us know what 'she' ultimately gets named.-M :^)

n reply to Kenwas. Dont think it would be able to survive long . Its clearly a tame domestic animal that was let go of . If we let it go it would die .. its was practically dying of thirst. Took it to the pet store and they confirmed that. These are only naturally wild i believe in Australia..it would get hit by a car here.. probally someone moved and had to let it go . IT ate some pear and drank water and was thirsty. I think we can give it a good home. The book says they are docile and good eduacational pets for children . so we will take it day by day.. .and Candi reallyee didn't mind it at all infact they fell asleep together happily lol!!...

All shots are great, but my favorite is the bottom middle one. That dragon looks so contented on Candi's head. I even think it is smiling. LOL! And look at that dear Candi, putting up with a dragon foot in her eye. Kimarie, this is just so warm and fuzzy I can't stand it. I love it and love that you share these things with us.

Love all the pics, love the story, love bearded dragons!!! LOL :P Lizards are great pets, except for the crickets in the house. that would drive me nuts!!!! Have fun!!!! Hugs! :)

Those pictures a precious. Love the bottom middle..actually..love them all.. It's obvious what to call her..GOLDILOCKS,,,, She's gold (at least in your pictures) ..she moves in and takes over...just like in the story..lol Just think ..she makes a good subject for photography...she would look awesome in my lab =)

I love this picture on the bottom in the middle!!!!LOl The lizard looks so relaxed and seems to be happy, if you can tell that by a reptile and your poor doggie makes a face, like he doesn't trust to move!!!LOL Wonderful captured Kimmie!!!!!! V
