Description

I don't know what these are. I think it's a type of wild grass. The ants like them. How do I know this? Because I stepped right into an area of grasses and plants to get this shot and thought..oh, that's funny...my legs are sort of burning here. I looked down (which is not far) and I was covered with scores of ants. Aaargh!

I have decided that ants are evil! They attack me everytime I go out into my yard :-( Despite those horrid beasts you took a gorgeous shot! Love the blue sky and beautiful lighting !

Ha ha ha, you ARE a great story-writer! Too bad you got covered by those ants but well, you posted this shot so I guess you're still able to walk... ;) Gorgeous work, Rozanne, the species is unknown to me, there are so many Carex-species, dazzling numbers and Spain will certainly have many species that I have never seen before like this onbe!

A lovely shot, Rozanne, even if you suffered for it. My second son, would just have tried to catch some of the ants for his ant farms!! You have my sympathy. Something soothing, like calomine lotion might have worked, followed by some lanolin to renew the skin elasticity. Regards, John.
