I have been creating fractal art for
about ten years, and the addiction still has me in its grip. To me, fractal art
is painting, sculpture, photography, and a treasure hunt all rolled into one.
BIO
I am 47 years old, married to a sexy, surly Texan, and live in beautiful Vermont with two kitties. As a transplanted New Yorker, it's still a bit of a culture shock to see cows instead of cabs.
My full time job: my husband and I have a line of art gift and home decor accessories, upon which I print my art. We also print other artists' work as well on everything from tile murals to shoulderbags to keepsake boxes. Come visit and check us out;) Artists, click here.

missie mandelbrot: the pond reeds are all native to the fractal, with extensive postwork. I added the swaying cattails with a (long and tedious) mixture of hand-painting (drawing the forms first and then filling them in) and then using some filters and sharpening/lighting tools to get the "hairy" effect. I use most fractals as a jumping off point---and then I jump. ;) Thank you kindly everyone :)
