My first try combining 2 images in Gimp. Forground and background modeled and rendered in Blender.

WOW, this is amazing!!!! The jacks are perfect, and the reflection is very well done! Just the right amount of reflectivity to make it realistic. There is something about the ball that seems... unball-like ( ? LOL) to me .. but I can't put my finger on it. Your background looks like a photo, I'm jealous to read that you modelled that. You RULE! EXCELLENT!!!

Hrm..Maybe ambient occlusion would help? But the jacks look great

He did use ambiet occlusion, 16 samples. I think maybe the ball needs a texture mapped to the specular channel.
