Description

'The Entertainer' ------------------ I don't usually post photographs but I thought you might enjoy seeing this strange creature :) This is one of a pair of images that I've put together as a result of a street festival in Rochester England on the 6th May. This stilt performer was just incredible and it was quite creepy the way he moved around on all-fours and I wanted to get an image together that characterised this guy so I wouldn't forget an amazing day. ------------- If you like it I'll post the second image featuring the alien stilt performer. ------------- Photographs taken with a Fuji Finepx S9500 with postwork in Photoshop. I've seen people do this and I'll never figure it out, they remind you of a giant mantus...I'd love to see the other shot.

Cool picture and great composition! The founder of Le Cirque du Soleil started that way, as street entertainers on stilts, in Quec. Now, they're a multi-million dollar business, a full circus and are known world-wide.

Very nice, seamless montage work. Good presentation too; I like the breaks in the thin frame where his stilts overstep the boundary. Also good, at last, to catch a glimpse of your photographic work.

Thank you for sharing these with us. I would have liked to seen this act in person. Must have been amazing. That looks like it would be so hard to do. I could see Cirque de Soleil do this type of thing.
