Description

Here's another bit 'O' fun facts to chew upon: George Harrison wrote "Cracker Box Palace" in tribute to Lord Buckley 'cuz Lord "B", the great comic genius called his tiny place in Hollywood "Cracker Box Palace". Needles to say, The Beatles loved the amazing spoken word of Lord Buckley very much! When Paul McCartney sings: "Make it Jude" in the song "Hey Jude"(written for Julian Lennon, whose nick name was Jude) That line was lovingly, directly quoting Lord "B"...The Beatles didn't even check with copyright clearance lawyers at Apple Corps on this "borrowing" from Lord "B". Nothing new under the sun...or as we used to say when we did alot of experimental television: "Damn The Copyright--Full Speed Ahead!" If that wasn't enough loving borrowment, Todd Rungren named his first band "The Nazz" after Lord Buckley's great bit about Jesus called..."The Nazz" (Nazereth--get it?)..see www.lordbuckley.com --tanks

With 2 of the 4 dead, you would think the stupid law suit would pass soon, and you could then get the Beatles on the iPod....good thing I already had most of their stuff anyway...Loved George!! The soul of the Beatles! He died way too young.
