I believe they rise. I once seen a story on them but have now had forgotten it. What a shame. I know it was a good documentary. Or do they fall? I don't know. But I like the question and enjoy this work of yours. :) Therese

My daughter said as she saw your fractal: Oh, what lovely butterflies! (we say "summervel"). So it's obvious what it could be. Very beutiful fractal indeed!!
